ANGELIQUE:  What elements do you look for when trying to decide what books to sign?

DAWN: Originality. I love a book like I haven’t read before. I’ll even take an old trope if you can spin it for me and make it unique.

ANGELIQUE: Why do you find me so irresistible?

DAWN: Better question here is, why do YOU find ME so irresistible?

ANGELIQUE: If you had to be consumed by some kind of animal or bug, which would you choose and why?

DAWN: Hard question - I’m going to go with T-Rex. One bite and done. I want to go quick!

ANGELIQUE: What advice would you give to new authors?

DAWN: Be authentically and unapologetically yourself. Write what you love and others will love it, too.

ANGELIQUE: Who is your favorite Sanderson sister? Which one are you most like?

DAWN: Winnie and Winnie

ANGELIQUE: What's your biggest fear?

DAWN: Something happening to my husband or kids.

ANGELIQUE: What one movie could you watch over and over and not get bored?

DAWN: I know what you’re expecting me to say, but I would have to go with Steel Magnolias.

ANGELIQUE: What are you most looking forward to in 2024?

DAWN: My son’s wedding, TBR Con and submissions…duh!
